Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC)
About the CEC
The CEC provides system-wide clinical governance leadership and safety assurance across NSW Health.
As a pillar agency, the CEC works alongside the Ministry of Health, local health districts and specialty health networks while maintaining a system-wide view. This position enables the CEC to identify safety issues, learn from the variation across the health system, provide independent guidance and respond rapidly to emerging risks.
