Summary

This Policy Directive provides procedures for receiving, assessing and managing public interest disclosures in compliance with the Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994. The policy is intended to ensure that reports of serious wrongdoing relating to corruption, maladministration, serious and substantial waste, government information contravention and local government pecuniary interest contravention are treated appropriately and that staff that make reports will be protected from reprisal.
