Summary

This Policy Directive provides direction to NSW maternity services regarding the requirements of the Newborn Bloodspot Screening Program. This includes the information that parents/guardians must be provided with, consent and documentation that must be gained and the privacy, storage and security of the information collected as well as the conditions screened for by staff.
